Dear Family,
Carrillo is probably about as big as shores, maybe a little bigger, and the branch is about the same size too. No we don´t have to carry the water topside, it is pumped by the city.... i think... I´m actually not sure exactly how it works but we get it.
All the house down here as Concrete block. and everything else is just straight concrete. It´s crazy, there are some like hut house thingy's which are pretty cool. Breakfast is usually cereal or eggs, but right now we have a member who we rent from that lives right in front of us and she cooks us breakfast! It´s a really sweet deal, every morning at 7:30. No we don´t take siestas, our schedule is something like 6:30, wake up exercise shower, 7:30 eat, 8-10 study, throw some language time in there, leave the house, contact or meet up with appointments we have or whatever, eat again with a member at 2 and finish out the day with any more appointments we have. It´s pretty good.
Yeah we sometimes buy little snacks if we want want to, but not other than that. Lunch is the biggest meal down here, not dinner, so that´s a little different. We baptized five more Saturday night! It was really cool, they were all kids under 15, I baptized 4 and Elder Torres baptized 1. The first one was a little rough for me on the prayer, but it was amazing. I´ll try to send pictures. Hey do you have Sgt Chamburs email? he wanted me to call him once I got down here but I can´t, it costs too much and stuff. I hope he understands ha ha ha. Thank you for everything dad, you and mom are amazing and I love you soo much! Until next week...
