News from Elder Giles

Big Changes:
Well they are actually called special changes but whos telling. Anyways I got moved to Progeso, Yucatan. So I am now no longer in Carrillo Puerto. It`s pretty weird to think that I won`t see or teach any of the same people that I am teaching, or that I have been teaching and actually made plans for. We got here friday in the afternoon and we still only know like a third of the branch. So where is Progreso (Progreso in 2009)? Well to be honest I don`t even know myself. It`s sort of north of the capital of Merida. It`s right on the beach too,
we live like five blocks from the beach. I`ll take pictures soon enough.
Elder Balbuena:
So my new companion is Elder Balbuena and he only has three months left on his mission. Unfortunately he kinda falls under the category of ¨Muerto¨ or ¨Dead¨. What this means is he doesn`t exactly like to work that much and he`s very slow moving.
Progreso Branch:
Well yes it`s a branch but they are planning on growning into a ward by December. Right now they have about 70 asisting sacrement meeting. The branch is pretty cool and everyone is pretty excited, and so am I.
Senior Comp?:
Yeah... we still don`t know who is the senior comp between us. When I got to Merida they gave me the phone and the keys. And so far I`ve been giving the District Leader (who is also the Zone Leader) our goals and numbers and stuff. But we still don`t know. But we have the district meeting today so later we`ll find out what is up.
Baptisms:
Well before I left Carrillo Puerto I got the chance to see the three kids of Brother Candido Camaal be baptized by their father. Man that was really cool. You`ll have to ask me about it when I get back because it`s a HUGE story.

Anyways... Yeah that`s about it for now. I`ve definetely forgotten some stuff that happened during the week, but hey, it`s still good. I miss you all and love you very much!
