Progeso the Work:
Well the branch has a goal to be a ward in december, so right now we`re working alot with the members less active or inactive. They have a list of like 450 members and only about 60 or 70 are active. A real problem here is that the men really aren`t active, it`s a lot of the women who go to shurch and all the activities. Probably because this is a fishing town and all the men are gone a lot. Oh well.
Good Stuff:
So one day we were visiting a member in her house and it started to rain outside. And our next appointment was a ways away, like six or eight blocks. So when we left they gave us some garbage bags so we wouldn`t get too wet, we didn`t think that it was raining that hard, but we took them anyways, and like as soon as we went one block it started pouring like crazy, like I thought I was back in Hoquiam or something. Anyways so we stopped and I was like ok this is working too well, we were just holding the bags over our heads so, whipping out Boy Scouts 101, I made mine into a poncho! Thanks BSA! ha ha ha ha I dodn`t have pictures :( but it was pretty fun.
Birthday:
Well not mine, it`s in a month, and not anyone elses.... but hey I found out that I share the same birthday with a members daughter here, she`ll be turning 4 or something, but we`re totally going to have a killer party for it. I`m kind of excited. I haven`t done anything for my birthday for a while....
Spiritual something:
So this Sunday was fast sunday but we didn`t fast saturday night becuase we had an invitation for dinner, so we fasted after lunch yesterday (sunday) and wow, we were walking to an appoinment and like three people just randomly stopped us in the street to talk with us, it was awesome. We really saw, or at least I saw the blessings and the effects of fasting, and how much it helps. It was pretty cool.
So yeah.... that`s my little report for now. I love you all family, and I miss you all. Thank you so much for your support and love and prayers. I love you all!
