Hello Family,
We are teaching a young married couple that has only been married like three weeks. Jorge and Cristi. So he`s 21 and she... well she`s only 17... yeah. But they are legally married so it`s ok. But the only thing is that his parents aren`t exactly too happy with the decision or something. She is super receptive to what we teach and our next step is to challenge them for baptism. We`ll see how it goes. They would be our first baptism here in Valladolid.
We`re also teaching this older guy, Rogelio, who smokes. Aparently he smoked a ton before; he`s dropped it a lot since we`ve started teaching him. We`ve challenged him to only smoke 3 a day but he could only do four. And this next week we`ll have him at three and hopefully all of his family will go to church.
Things are going really good down here, there are a lot of members who are inactive. We have heard a couple complaints about the active members and stuff. Just a whole bunch of trash really. It hurts to hear all that junk.
So right now it`s a little hard for me to find my motivation. But it`s also hard to write a bunch when we only get an hour to write everyone. So I`m sorry that my emails are short. I`ll be sending a tape here soon. I love you all very very much and hope the best and pray for the better. Love you all!
