We are working really hard down here. We´ve found a couple families and are starting to teach them. One of them is super strong, and this sunday will be their first.
So we taught this family the other day, the Sanchez Canto family, (down here they have 2 last names) and we came back and he told us that he and his wife had been talking afterward about us and they had said that they felt something when we were there that they had never felt before! It was awesome! and we challenged them to get babtized! The dad says that he wants to get to know the church a little bit better before he does anything so yeah. But it was awesome!
Yucatan Living
It´s not too crazily diverse here, everyone is from mexico.... ok ok, we do have one guy in our ward that is from argentina and he talks waaay crazy, like it´s almost hard for me to understand him. I´ve got to admit that I have a ton of help on the spanish, I´ve learned it very quick considering. we have so much help in this work it´s ridiculous.
Anyways, yeah here in the yucatan it´s so crazily diferent from the rest of mexico, or so they say. But anyways, the yucatan down here they speak a lot of mayan and so it´s diferent, and the food is way diferent, it´s almost a diferent country down here. But the people aren´t that diverse. There´s only a few that are from Belise, or just another state of Mexico. Love you all!
